She got her start at Bedford/St. Martin’s and Macmillan Learning, and over the course of her career has partnered with numerous publishers and more than 100 authors. Ellen, who lives north of Boston in the seaside town of “Rockport, Massachusetts,” is an animal lover, nature enthusiast, and when her elbows cooperate, an occasional sailor. She is passionate about art, music, literature, and history (ask her about her Salem ancestors).
