Marita has been working in higher education publishing and edtech since 2004. She is a development editor, project manager, and managing editor, and has vast experience working successfully with authors and clients. She truly loves helping teams meet their goals on whatever project comes her way.
Marita lives in Delaware with her family and their Greater Swiss Mountain dog, Brontë. When not managing projects or meeting her annual 50-book reading challenge, she can be found in an ice rink watching her two sons play ice hockey or in the garden picking fruits, vegetables, flowers (and weeds).
If I weren’t a writer/editor, I would be: a ballet dancer or a chef.
My morning routine is: driving my kiddos to school and walking the dog.
I most admire: the Armchair Expert podcast; the hosts and guests have such great, insightful conversations.
My superpower is: organization. I can wrangle the messiest and most complex of things.
