Elizabeth has worked as an editor for 25 years, strengthening educational products, textbooks, novels, short stories, flash fiction, memoir, and general nonfiction. Her experience includes developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading. She holds a BA in journalism and an MFA in creative writing and literature, and her writing has appeared in various publications. She’s addicted to character-driven books, songs, shows, and movies, and she also enjoys horseback riding, joking around with her daughters, and learning about ultrarunning.
If I weren’t a writer/editor, I would be: a bookstore owner. I’ve always loved the idea of creating a community gathering place built around books.
My morning routine is: getting the kids off to school, walking the dog, and coffee, coffee, coffee.
I most admire: my kids. They are resilient, kind, and funny, and they remind me to walk through the world with wonder.
My superpower is: keeping an open mind.
