Kim began her editing career in fourth grade when she pointed out an error in a novel to her teacher. She has been editing, copyediting, and proofreading for almost 30 years and has experience in academic, higher education, magazine, and corporate editing.
Kim grew up in California and currently lives in Utah with her husband and kids, a dog, and three cats. She misses the beach but loves having the mountains at her doorstep.
She enjoys spending time with her family, walking in nature, and reading everything she can get her hands on.
If I weren’t a writer/editor, I would be: an astronomer (in a world where I had the math skills) or a librarian.
My morning routine is: taking care of our dog and three cats and then settling in to work with a piece of sourdough toast.
I most admire: my parents. They’re the best of the best.
My superpower is: overthinking.
